Title | The Poole Quadrill / The Recruiting officer |
The first tune is from William Clarke of Feltwell (ms. dated 1820 - 1850). Clarke's spelling was not perfect, and this must be a tune for "La Poule", the name of one of the standard five parts of the traditional Quadrille dance.
This version of The Recruiting Officer is from the Aird ms. (Scotland). Anahata wrote both harmony parts. | |
