Here are two versions of the tune: the first, also called "The Last of June" is from the playing of Rose Murphy. The second, with the key change half way though, is as played by many English musicians, and how I first heard it, played by Alistair Anderson on his "Concertina Workshop" album from the 1970s. The original Jenny Lind (or "Jenny Lind's Favourite Polka") is a 3 part tune by Anton Wallerstein (1813-1892, German violinist and composer), but the third part doesn't get played much for some reason. | |
