TitleThe Yellow Joak
This appears in John Walsh's 1731 "3rd Collection of Jigs, Hornpipes, Joaks, etc." originally in the key of F.

In the 1730's several coloured "joak" (or "Joke") tunes appeared as parodies of the very popular "Black Joak" which is still used today as a Cotswold morris tune and was also a song.
Not to be confused with a 3/2 hornpipe of the same name.
