Following the example of my hero Joseph Taylor, I forget words in this on a regular basis, but somehow the song always comes out as a coherent story. I first heard this as a concert piece by Delius and went away to find the original. Try it yourself! Mr Taylor was, in my opinion, the very best singer ever recorded.
