Jack The Horse Courser's Hornpipe is from one of the 19th Cenrury Winder family manuscripts, though originally it seems to have been the gavotte from the overture to Handel's Opera "Ottone" Iron Legs is from Lakeland Fiddler William Irwin. The name possibly refers to the acrobatic prowess of actor and clown Joseph Grimaldi, though elsewhere it's sometimes known as The Iron league which might suggest a different origin.
