TitleCuckoos Nest (Leadley)
This version of the Cuckoo's Nest comes from one of the manuscripts of Lawrence Leadley (Yorkshire, 1827-97) and is in the book "The Fiddler of Helperby" (pub. Dragonfly Music)

We first heard it played by Nick Barber, in the original key of G. He plays a melodoen with two sets of reeds an octave apart, and this gave Anahata the idea of playing on a single row 4-stop, and we decided C would be a good key.
