| When the suggestion came up on melodeon.net to play a tune written by another MelNet member, these recent compositions by Ollie King sprang to mind. I think I'm playing the first tune slower and the second faster than he did, perhaps to emphasise the contrast becase they are definitely not a set to be played at the same speed.
I seem to remember having to work quite hard on the harmonies to get something that worked musically and was playable on the Oakwood, which uses a lot of air. | |
