This came up when the Melnet theme of the month was weddings. I thing there was a royal wedding about to happen at the time.

I chose this waltz by Brian Peters written for his wife Margaret for their 15th wedding anniversary. For some reason I thought the Pokerwork would sound good for this - maybe something to do with the stronger tremolo tuning invoking a more sentimental feel.

I remember seeing Brian play this at the Islington Folk Club in the 1990s and being impressed at the long scales played smoothly all in one bellows direction over a sustained bass note - not the sort of thing you expect from a melodeon!
