Melodeon.net theme of the month July 2025: tunes beginning with 'G'. Here's a the tune for a Playford dance called Gathering Peascods. I've known this tune for a very long time, as I remember playing it (cello part) in the junior school orchestra in about 1964. I think I had a vague idea it was an old English tune, but at the tender age of 12 didn't know anything about Playford!
