De'il Take the Warr
From 1721 edition of Playford's Dancing Master. Played for melodeon.net theme of the month April 2025 - tunes beginning with 'D'. This is hard to play on a melodeon in the slow, smooth style usually done for this dance, so after attempting it once, for the 2nd and 3rd time through I left out the basses and substituted a harmony part double tracked on the same melodeon and a bass line played on cello.
