A further contribution for MelNet theme of the month August 2024 - tunes from France. I thought I should learn a new tune from scratch for this month, and with only a few days of August left, have just got to the point where I can get though it without coming completely off the rails. It's a Waltz by Bernard Loffet, who was also well known as a melodeon maker. This instrument, though it looks very like the Dino Baffetti/Oakwood that I often play, is actually a G/C version of the same box and slightly bigger.
