For Melnet's continuing alphabetic series of themes of the month: in June 2023 it's tunes beginning with 'V'. This version of the tune is from the Welch ms. of Bosham, Sussex. A version of it in B flat is in the 1830 Nuttall ms. from Rossendale, Lancashire. I'm pretty sure I learned this from Simon Ritchie in numerous sessions in Thaxted and other places around the Cambrige/Essex borders.
