From William Irwin, the fiddle player from Elterwater in the Lake District. ‘Lal’ is a northern dialect version of ‘Little’ A second contribution for melodeon.net theme of the month May 2022: tunes beginning with the letter ‘L’. Original seems to be in C; I have added a version transposed into D which is how we are playing it here.
