Two northern English reels for Melnet Theme of the month September 2021 (tunes beginning with 'G'.) The Great North Run '86 is by Northumbrian accordionist Robert Whitehead. The Green Ship is from the John Winder ms. (Wyresdale, Lancs. 19th century.) The original appears to have been in D minor.
