| Title | Cuckoos Nest (Leadley) |
A version of the Cuckoo's Nest from one of the manuscripts of Lawrence Leadley (Yorkshire, 1827-97) and is in the book "The Fiddler of Helperby" (pub. Dragonfly Music). Harmony part by Anahata. We first heard it played by Nick Barber, in the original key of G. He plays a melodoen with two sets of reeds an octave apart, and this gave Anahata the idea of playing on a single row 4-stop, and we decided C would be a good key. | |
